Winter brings with it major holidays and peak travel times. If you’re planning to be on the road this holiday season, we’ve got something for the holiday travelers across the East Coast.
Traveling with a Trailer
If you’re planning on making the trip with your trailer in tow, the Pro-Line team would like to remind everyone to please keep safety in mind. Be sure you’re properly following your trailer’s towing limitations and aren’t using unsafe equipment. If your trailer is swaying from side-to-side behind your vehicle or your brake lights aren’t lighting up due to faulty connection, please make the stop to Pro-Line Trailers to visit our on-site Trailer Service Shop.
We can assist you with trailer parts and accessories, or trailer service to ensure you and your family have safe travels this holiday!
Tips for Holiday Trailer Travel
Here is a starting list of things you should check before embarking on your holiday trip to ensure trailer safety:
- Grease hubs
- Tire pressure and condition
- Coupler condition
- Check spare tire
- Ball tight on mount
- Hitch condition
- Lights working on trailer
- Straps in working order
- Safety chains in place
- All doors have been locked and have the keys
- All ramps/gates are in place with their pins
- Close roof vents and/or windows
- Items inside the trailer are properly loaded, fastened and binded down
Traveling Through Virginia
For those whose routes take them through the state of Virginia, be sure to pit stop at Pro-Line Trailers! Located in Western Virginia in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Boones Mill, NC, our trailer lot will be full of trailer specials on open and enclosed trailers.

The Pro-Line Trailers Monster Truck
We can’t talk about traveling through Virginia without mentioning the infamous Pro-Line Trailers monster truck! Each year, the Pro-Line Trailers monster truck is outfitted with holiday lights. Already visible from the road, the monster truck has become a sort of landmark in the local area. We invite you to come by and check it out for yourself!
